Children's Miracle Network fundraisers

Join us at Fredericksburg Fairgrounds for the 8th Annual Children's Miracle Network Fundraiser. There'll be lots to see and do, and Kettle Korn to munch on. The hours are 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Saturdays at Lee's Hill Shopping Center - Food Lion/Bloom

• On Saturdays when we aren't booked elsewhere, and we've caught up with our chores at home, we like to set up in front of the Bloom Grocery at the Lee's Hill Shopping Center. The donations we collect, along with a portion of our proceeds, go to the Children's Miracle Network.
• We pretty much need the weather to be good. We don't do bad weather at Bloom. Too cold, too windy or too rainy and we chicken out. Hot is okay. We've survived over 100 degrees, so hot is not a problem.
• In 2006, things worked out just right for us to be there in March, April, May, July and December.
• In 2007, we made it there in January, February, April, July (3 times in July), August, September and November. Altogether we raised over $ 2,300 in 2007 through sales at the Bloom Grocery. Pretty good, huh?
• 2008 is off to a great start. We've been to Bloom 4 times already this year and we've raised just over $400 already. Thank you for everything you've done to help us and help the Children's Miracle Network.
