May 2, 2009 - Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This is the biggest event we go to each year. It is a very large festival spread over the entire downtown area of Farmville. Let's hope for good weather. We know it'll be fun for everyone.
This was our second trip to Farmville for the Heart of Virginia Festival. We were situated near the college and missed some of the crowds from downtown but still had a good time.
2007 was our first trip to the Heart of Virginia Festival. We had heard a lot about it and just had to sign up for it. We first heard about it at Walton's Mountain. Then we heard about it again in Fairfax. And then again in Fredericksburg. It seemed like everywhere we've been folks were saying good things about the Heart of Virginia Festival. They were right, of course. It was a fabulous time. So, we look forward to going back again. We hope you'll join us there.
