Potomac Point Vineyard & Winery

Grand Opening

Potomac Point held the grand opening for their vineyard on July 14-15, 2007. We were there both days, enjoying the beautiful weather and popping a little kettle korn.

We were set up right beside the patio, on the hill above the vineyards. Click on the image above for a larger view. In the background you can see the patio, where the band was playing, and beyond it, some of the grape vines rowing on the hillside.

Potomac Point Winery is located on the historic Widewater Peninsula in the northern tip of Stafford County, Virginia. From I-95, take exit 148, proceed to ramp leading to Route 1-southbound; go approximately 1 mile to the light and turn left onto Telegraph rd.; go 3/10th’s of a mile and turn left onto Widewater Road.; travel 2.8 miles and turn right onto Decatur Road. (crabshack); go 1 mile to Winery on the left at 275 Decatur Road.
