July 3rd, 2010 - 3:00 pm - 9:30 pm Spotsylvania County Parks and Recreation Department hosts this family-fun event at Spotsylvania Courthouse. The fun starts about 3:00 p.m. and goes until the big fireworks display at 9:15 p.m. This year we are sponsored again by the MHS PTSO. If things go well, we hope to raise more money for their Scholarship Fund and After Prom Party efforts.
In 2009 they held the Stars and Stripes Spectacular on June 28th. We were sponsored by the Massaponas High School Parent Teacher Student Organization. (MHS PTSO). They helped us out with student volunteers and we, in turn, raised money for them. In all, we were able to raise over $500. A very good day for fundraising.
Look for us at Spotsylvania Courthouse. It's at the intersection of Courthouse Road (VA 208) and Brock Road.
